Christmas Getaway To Greenbelt (3 And 5)....With DORE-MON!!!! :D:D:D:D

-1 year ago pa namin ito plinaplano, but we never had the chance to do so....and now....NATULOY....YEY....thank you extreme home-boredom!!!! :D:D:D:D

- Arrived at Greenbelt with Dorenett around 4pm in search for Monica....

- Saw Monica....nagscandalo kami sa Music1. Hahahaha....

- Bought movie tickets for our 6:20 movie....

- Ate at Bubba Gump....plenty of catching up to do!!!!

- Bought gelato....grabe....the Nutella gelato didn't taste like Nutella at all. Drat. Haha....

- Watched our movie....haha....pumunta lang kaming Greenbelt para manuod ng Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....it was fun to watch....the reporter of the movie looked so much like Ms. Chan (please refer to the album "Yah Dharma Ke Pyaar Screenshots"). Then again, I did a little research and found out that it wasn't her....awwwwwwww....pero super kamukha kasi, with the voice, teeth eyes and all, parang mejo carbon copy ni mam....o well....

- Walked to Greenbelt 5....we shopped there....yeah....window shopped....nagWINDOW SHOP ng mga damit, pagkain, sapatos, mannequin, furniture, toys, lahat na lang....hahahaha....ang yaman namin noh....hahahaha....joke!!

- Super pictorial by the stairs....our so called "Greenbelt 5 Pyramid Stairs"....ala lang, may feeling na nasa loob ka ng pyramid eh....ayun, nagskandalo ako with my famous upside down shot....buti na lang kunti lang tao doon....kundi baka isipin ng guards baliw ako na bumubula-bula pa ang bibig!!!! *knocks 3 times*

- Finally ate a Cyma, grabe....super great ng food doon kahit kelan....haha....we ordered out cheese appetizer just for the sake of the "OPA!!" experience....haha....basta yung mga dishes na nagfla-flambe. Haha....tapos they do the flambe in front of you, tapos everyone (the staff at least) will shoud "OPA!!!!". It's fun when they do it to your dish, pero pag sa other tables, tapos mabibigla ka lang when every staff shouts "OPA!!"....haha....that opa thing gets me every time I eat there....nakakagulat, pero ang cute!! hahahaha....

- Finally went home....haha....grabe....one of my most memorable nights....haha....last time we did this was 4 years ago....with another person....4 kami dati....now 3 na lang....haha....oh well, it's ok lang. What a nice small family!! Hahahaha!!!! YEYYYY!!!! Super thanks Dor and Mon!! :D:D:D:D Till next time....haha....

Christmas Getaway To Robinson's Place Manila!!!!

-Met up in CKSC, 9am....na naging 9:30....na naging 9:45....tapos nagbreakfast na lang kami sa McDo....Haha....Saw Zachary (SSHS-Ateneo friend) there....

-Jessica wasn't able to go because she needed to do something daw....pero she was able to make it sa McDo....

-We chatted in McDonald's until around 12noon or so....and then we headed to RP.

-We ate in the Banana Leaf, ordered some Thai food and yeah....we ate on banana leaves....hahahaha!!!!

-After lunch, we saw Lalaine and Joanna....gah....haha....we chatted in front of the Banana Leaf Restaurant....as Lala pointed out, it was a form of "non-traditional advertising"....kasi it means daw, na, if you eat in the Banana Leaf Restaurant, you'll meet your friends....hahahaha....(It's a Comm/Advertising thing....haha) Also, I met Hannah Tan (Uno-Ateneo friend) and her mom (with another companion na hindi ko kilala sino....). Haha....

-Went to Paeng's and bowled. After that, we played billiards. Gah. Nanalo ang girls sa lahat ng games in bowling and billiards....Since bitter kami ni Oliver, sabi ni Oliver na "Pasko naman eh. Pagbigyan. Merry Christmas!!" HAHAHAHA!!!! Labo much!! Tapos grabe. I don't wanna say much, basta mejo nainis kami sa billiards part dahil sa service....haha....

-After Paeng's we ate in Greenwich (puro kain kami eh....haha). Met Jamie Chuah there (another Uno-Ateneo friend, Lalaine's blockmate). We also saw Joanna there....(Joanna 4-8 Prospex)

-After that, we went somewhere to meet Erlyn's little sister and her friends (yey, more CKSC people :D:D:D:D). After that, we went home around 5pm or so....it was a bit dark already....

-Had fun!! Wished we watched a movie too, wala lang....parang bitin, or maybe it's because we weren't complete....hay....Oh well, looking forward to summer's trip!! :D:D:D:D

-Hayz....we had fun remembering stuff too....oh well....nostalgia....:) :) :) :)

~~Merry Christmas to all!!!!~~

BACK IN TIME: JEAN THERESE GO'S 18TH!!!!

- The day after Marga's debut....hahahaha....

- Dec. 6, 2008, Fernwood Gardens, 6pm (which started at around 8 something already....haha....)

- Theme: RETRO....she didn't specify which decade though, so I thought of going as a 60's hippie, so I could play around with my costume. It's also an excuse to look Indian....haha....

- I went to CKSC around 5pm to meet up with Tal, since I would be carpooling with her and Leanne....They had their scout meeting pa so we left around 6 something....haha....

- We arrived in Fernwood looking like we got "lost" somewhere....apparently we haven't changed into our costumes yet....hahahaha....

- We had fun there....tapos 18 Treasures din pala ako (halong boys and girls yung treasures niya....hehe....), tapos I think I was the one with the longest speech....hahahaha....

- We never knew that they had a "Mr. and Ms. Fashionista Awards" that night....the host only announced it during the awarding itself. Sigh, we never knew that we were all "stalked" the whole night....Wahahahahaha.... Ayon....tapos, ayon....Andrea was Ms. Fashionista....with her Hairspray inspired look (gotta love her hair sobra....), and ayun....ako naman si Mr. Fashionista (shocking noh??....haha....)....hahahaha....Cinq Overload....hahahaha....Pero seriously though, everyone looked great that night!!!! Maraming tao ang kumareer sa getup nila....hehe :D:D:D:D

- Before Tal, Leanne and I left, we camwhored first....hindi namin palalampasin yun....hahahaha....oh well....Haha....the set was nice kasi eh....hahahaha....

- Special mention pala to Danielle Ong....she was the one who made the 3 braids that hung down from my pants....haha....she made those 3 years ago for our 3rd year travelogue (India) in English class....haha....(napansin ko andaming 3 ah....3 braids, 3 years, 3rd year....hahahaha)

- My attire for this debut was the wildest attire I've worn among all debuts. Hahahaha....This attire even beats the attire I wore for Jane's debut. Hahahaha!!!! Panu ba naman, this time, pati eyeliner and everything na....hahahaha!!!!

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY: MARGARETTE LIM'S 18TH!!!!

- Dec. 5, 2008, 6pm (when it's actually 8), TGI Friday's Trinoma
- Commuted to Trinoma with Clarisse and her mom....nagkaroon ng "me-time" si auntie sa Trinoma....haha....
- We ate first, blew the cake and started th program.
- Michelle and I hosted the party. Mejo sabog yung sound system but it's ok, we all had fun....haha....lalo na ang mga banat ni Marga!!!!
- Oonga pala, SEXY si Marga nung gabing yun. Hahahaha.... (o yan Marga ah)
- Nakakatuwa yung tequilla. 18 shots kasi ako. Haha. First time. Haha. I didn't drink it all. Tsaka may test din ako the following day noh. Haha (yeah, Saturday classes....haha)....so ayun. Tapos yung lime, hindi ko sinuck....KINAIN KO. Haha. Nagpanic ako eh. Hahahahahahahaha....Well, hindi ko kinain yung balat though....hahahaha
- It was a very sabaw night!! Hahahaha....daming banat ng mga tao eh....hahahaha....:D:D:D:D
- I wore a "school-boy" inspired attire. hahahaha....so ayun. I forgot my thin black tie at home eh. Kakainis. It should've made my attire look better. Hayz. Hahahaha. Oh well :D:D:D:D

SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!! LEANNE DY'S SURPRISE 18TH!!!!!!!!!!

- November 29, 2008, Kiko's Restaurant, Puregold, E. Rod. Avenue, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, 6:30pm

- Nalate si Leanne and Jelvin (like mga more than an hour late....) so kumain muna kami....haha....yey buffet....

- Leanne was "surprised"!! Haha, well she was really; she just didn't look like she was....Hahahaha....

- HOSTS: Crystal and I....haha....

- Super successful hosting experience....haha....mas hasa na dila ko....wahahahaha....next hosting "gig" ko sa debut ni Marga naman....haha....(Dec. 5)

- Everything went well naman, haha....

- Kelan pa natutong magguitar si Nellie?!?!?!?!

- Attire for the night: Black Chinese top with golden highlights (the garb was reversible, the other side being gold with black highlights), slacks and a little Chinese ornament that I placed through my belt. I positioned it where the slits of the Chinese top could be found, so the ornament could be seen. Haha....Grabe, buena mano itong debut ni Leanne sa black suit ko. Hahahaha....I call it the Chinamerican look. Haha....Kasi the black Chinese top was of course, not the best thing to wear in a typical Chinese occasion, but the top was going for the pseudo-Americana-polo look, which made the suit formal. Haha....Wow may ganyan pa raw akong nalalaman. Hahahaha....

-more pics to come :D:D:D:D

THE DEBUTSPEDIDA (Debut + Despedida): ERVINA TAN'S 18TH (Advanced Celebration)....

- China Place, Pan Pacific Hotel, Malate, Manila, 6:30pm (nalate kami ni Crisselle)

- AFTER 2 YEARS (or so....), I saw Chabert and Abegail once again....hay, memories, and bukingans....

-katable ng Cinq (and shobe ni Chabert) ang mga DLSU friends ni Ervina....then ayun, binubuking namin mga some things about Chabert sa kanila, and sa shobe ni Chabert....hindi ko nga alam kung may naintindihan yung mga DLSU friends ni Ervina sa amin eh....wala kaming ginawa kundi tumawa nang tumawa....haha....

- mageexchange student si Ervina sa Singapore, so it was like a despedida party also....

- Andun pala si Sir Judes....:D:D:D:D Wahahahaha....wala lang, shocking....hehe....

- Despite the very traditional Chinese setting of the restaurant, I chose to go wearing an Indonesian batik polo (it's a printed batik sadly....not the handmade one....), then with an added touch....the copper-brass necklace that I bought in 2007....it was supposed to be for display lang, kasi alam ko pambabae siya....never in my life did I ever think that I would wear it someday....well I did, and bagay pala....hindi mukhang gay....just, multicultural....bwahahahahaha :D:D:D:D

Live It Love It - Hong Kong Autumn 2008

Went there for a week with my mom....walang ganun pics ng mom ko kasi ayaw niya palagay sa Multiply mga pictures niya....haha....Ayun....We stayed in the house of my mom's friend's friend. Long story kung paano kami napunta dun....haha....di ko rin ganung naintindihan eh....haha....

Day 1- Arrival....gabi na so tulog na....

Day 2: The Peak....andun na yung Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum....after that we went to Tsim Sha Tsui via ferry....I bought my Ramayana series DVD in Chungking Mansion....haha....16 volumes....super bigat....haha....I also went to Tom Lee to buy my Josh Groban piano book....haha....dumaan na rin ako sa Hindu Temple doon....hehe....

Day 3: Disneyland....whole day na kami there....haha....galit na ako sa HK Disneyland kasi wala akong nakitang bakas ni Heimlich (Heimlich is the obese caterpillar sa A Bug's Life....)....He's my currently favorite cartoon character....haha....BTW....Nagkita kami ni Judea sa Disneyland....apparently may apartment pala sila dun sa HK....haha....She's my seatmate dati sa Filipino nung summer sa Ateneo....haha....later that day, nagkita kami ni Sharlene Dizon and Auntie Susan....goodness....sinusundan ako ng mga people I know....hahahaha!!!! Joke....Dumaan din pala kami sa may pier nung gabi to watch the Symphony of Lights....haha....

Day 4: Ocean Park....Ayun....plenty of fishies there....haha....then after that we went to North Point to meet my mom's cousin, tapos nagshop na rin kami....haha....

Day 5: Ngong Ping 360....went to the Chinese-style village....then went to the Po Lin monastery to see the big Buddha....haha....After Ngong Ping, we went to the nearby Citygate Outlet and walked around....haha....

Day 6: We first visited the Khalsa Dewan Sikh Temple (HK Branch)....Then random shopping....haha....we ended up in the Temple Street Night Market....dun ako namili ng super daming things....haha....

Day 7: Mag-isa ako umuwi, naiwan mom ko dun (extended siya 1 more week....haha....I have to enlist for my sched pa so I had to go back....may internet nga dun sa HK pero just in case magkatopak ang site like nung summer, at least matatawagan ko agad ang Ateneo pag nasa Pinas ako....haha....) I rode in the business class....so I was able to enjoy the business lounge sa airport....haha....Since Boeing 747 ang sinakyan kong plane, I was able to sit upstairs....haha....business class nga....haha....oh well....

Grabe talaga....it was a fun experience....except for the occasional complain ni mom na pagod na siya....kasi mas magaling akong maglakad kesa sa kanya....haha....pero buti na rin na mas maaga akong umuwi....kung hindi baka naubos pera namin dun sa kakabili ng things....hahahaha....Aside from that....it was also hard kasi I had to code switch in English, Mandarin, Cantonese (I know a little), Fukien (rarely ko nagamit kasi mostly Cantonese nga mga tao dun....haha), Tagalog (for the Pinoys na nakausap namin at napagtanungan ng daan kung nawawala kami....haha....sa sobrang daming Pinoys parang di rin kami umalis ng Pinas....haha....) and Hindi (for the many Indians there....kahit na marunong silang magEnglish....haha....)....ayun....I hope I could go back there again....kasi nice naman siya....ayun....hahahaha....AND....galit pa rin ako sa HK Disneyland kasi walang anything Heimlich dun....haha....ni wala ngang bakas ng A Bug's Life dun eh....haha....

MOA And Oliver's Pregraduation 'Surprise??'

- October 22, 2008

- Met up at CKSC....There were supposed to be 6 of us going to MOA, but Berna and Nathalie had some other stuff, so they weren't able to go....

- We arrived at MOA at around 10:30 am. Since it was a weekday, there were only a handful of people there....

- We decided to have an early lunch so we could have an extended afternoon....

- After eating at Burgoo's, we skated on ice. Jessica was forbidden to ice skate, but we talked her into doing it....haha...."It was a scary experience" as she puts it....

- I was so happy because I manage to do the swizzles....The swizzles is a very simple ice skating stunt....haha....

- After skating, we bowled and then played billards shortly afterwards. Again, the boys nailed the girls in bowling. As for billiards, I can only remember that I was the Pool King that day....I forgot about the resulats of the other 2 games....haha....

- Since it was still early after billiards, we decided to eat in Icebergs....

- After our snack, we went to Power Station. We went to the one that was outside the mall proper, near the Manila Bay. Not everyone has the initiative to go there since there is a Power Station inside the mall proper. We took the "extra mile" to go there so we could "own" the place like last time....haha....

- Thanks to out new discovery of the tiket-giving-machines, we managed to get 457 tickets in one short stay there....haha....

- We left MOA at around 6+pm.

- After we arrived in the Masangkay area, we were supposed to execute our surprise party for Oliver....The plan somehow backfired because Oliver was too nosy...."Oliver kasi e, and corny mo talaga...." - Ms. Estacio....

- We were a lot in Shakey's around 14 people I guess....glad to see Miguel and Erlyn....we know they still have their classes....trisem kasi eh....haha....We were also glad to see that Berna and Nathalie managed to catch up that evening....

-We left Shakey's at around 10 something....

- It was truly a great day. I hope that we could go out more (preferably weekdays....), and do awesome stuff like we did in MOA....haha....

- 17th Birthday: Oct. 13, 2007, Robinson's Place, Ermita....
- 18th Birthday: Oct. 13, 2008, SM Mall of Asia....

18th Birthday: HAHA....Not our usual malling experience....Well, it was my big idea to go to MOA....since mas maraming options ng gagawin....Since Monday kami pumunta, WE PRACTICALLY OWNED MOA (there were super kunting tao lang there eh....)....haha....Joke....First, we were supposed to be three lang (ako, Jeng and Nathz), then the other two came along....haha....sayang wala si Karel, Miguel, Erlyn, Miss Estacio, and si Bless na mas pinili pa daw ang org kesa sa birthday ni Jessica....haha....(PEACE TAYO BLESS!!!! MWAH)....we ate at Burgoo....had fun drawing on the table....haha....after that, bowling naman, my treat (para sa birthday ko nung Sept. 25)....naka 2 strikes ako....haha.... then billiards (KKB na....may budget din ako noh)....then we went to the Manila Bay side of MOA....haha....had fun with the "outdoor gym thingy" with all the "gym thingies" lying around, tapos free of charge pa....so pinaglaruan....haha....We went to Power Station, pero not the one beside the Bowling Center....dun sa labas....Since it just opened at around 4 something, we were the first ones there....so technically....SOLO NAMIN ANG PLACE....haha....Nathalie and I had fun in the Karaoke booth din....I hate the sound system. Gah. Hahahaha....Oh well....haha....the day was super fun....next time, sana ice skating naman....HAHAHAHA....

MY OBSERVATION: I WORE THE SAME SHIRT EXACTLY 366 DAYS AGO (2008 was a leap year kasi, kaya 366)....

- first went to Little India....darn....holiday kaya di nakapasok ng Hindu temple....so kunting shopping lang there....then had lunch in Jolibee UN Ave.

- we next went to Quiapo for good good bargains....we also went to Masjid Al-Dahab (the mosque in Quiapo)....it's a mosque....meaning....MUSLIMS....(some people confuse Muslims with Indians kasi eh....para lang may clarification....hayz....and btw, "Indian" is a race, "Muslim" is a follower of Islam....so merong Indians na Muslims, pero hindi lahat ng Muslims are Indians....GETS?!?! Geez....people nowadays....)

-Luckily, I brought my black cloth from my Lit14 play last summer....kasi Nichole had to cover her head when going in the mosque....rule nila eh....kami ni Ger, ok lang....haha....sayang di ko dala yung Muslim wear ko, para authentic di ba?? THE 'STAR' OF THE NIGHT: Crystal 'Tala' Gonzales' Debut

Tala's debut was not the formal kind, but it sure acted like one....hehe....we all ate in Yellow Cab Binondo, around 7pm last June 12, 2008. We all had fun chatting up, taking pictures (I especially like Clarisse' cam....)....but best of all....the ENDLESS SLICES OF PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

Because of my hyperness and a few doses of Yellow Cab's signature chili flakes....I never knew exactly why I took some "strange" pictures of me....HAHAHAHA....OH WELL....In addition to my hyperness, I also had an LSS on a few songs like Bleeding Love, Get Outta My Head (Ayayaya)and another song that I forgot....haha.... :D:D:D:D

Musicale Rendezvous @ 20: CONCERT DAY!!!! (5-31-08)

CONCERT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More pics to come....pictures were grabbed from Noreen, Raelene and Jerrica, my digicam's battery "fainted" that's why I don't have my own pictures....hahahaha....

General Rehearsal In The PhilAm Life Auditorium (5-30-08)

We had our rehearsals in the PhilAm Life Auditorium last May 30, 2008. Even though we only had half a day to practice, we managed to have time for picture taking- a must for every special occasion....hehe....Noreen had a fairly "out of place" gown, as she said, since her green gown did not match the gold-maroon/blood red theme of the costumes. She was the concert's special guest, since she is not a music student of the CKSC Music Center, though she studied in CKSC (and this coming opening in UST....college na eh....)....hehe....She is a real prodigy and a real friend....awwwwww....hahahaha....

Moments After Lit14 Play....

-Met some old English blockmates that I really really miss....
-Went to Fil class to submit papers....Since our prof wasn't around yet....I played with Rachelle's hair (Lit14 classmate/groupmate who also happens to be my Fil14 blockamte) using the 5 hair extensions. She didn't have a chance to have hair extensions because her hair was covered anyway, that's why I gave her her shining moment....haha....
-While playing with Rachelle's hair, I managed to shoot some emo pics....since I was wearing all black for the play....so, ayun, grab the moment....hahahaha....

DULCE VIDA: May 21, 2008....my first Atenean production....my first Atenean play....my first original play....

We had our play as sort of a practical finals for Literature 14 (Intro to Poetry and Drama) under Mr. Francis Sollano, last May 21, 2008. Goodness....and hirap....kasi....hindi tugma tugma sched naming lahat for practices....pero buti na lang nakapag prac kami....hehe....The plays (of the 3 groups) were presented in the Fine Arts Theater, 7:30-9am (20-30mins per group).

Dulce Vida is a highly symbolic play. It is set in Spain and headed by 3 main leading ladies. A rich divorced Muslim (who apparently has luck NOT by her side) (Fatima Iq'wahab y Zindabad), a poor, abused and illiterate Catholic (Esther Hernandez y Ybanez), and a poor gypsy (gitana) scholar (Maria Layila de Oro).

My character is called shadow; a personification of time. Time dances with them, hence, the dancing parts. For the first time in my life, I performed flamenco (NOT TAP DANCE) in public. I wouldn't have done my flamenco if it wasn't for my tap shoes din....haha....too bad almost natanggal na yung isang tap plate dun sa right foot ko nung finale....

Ayun....from this play....namiss ko tuloy yung Ramayana....yung MASCKS family ko....haha....grabe pa rin ang hangover kahit more than 1 year na ang nakalipas since Feb. 10, 2007....hehe....

I would also like to thank my wonderful backstage crew....

Lynds and Joanne, thanks for being my "alarm clocks" dun sa play....(sila kasi yung alarm clocks....yung parang boses from the digital clock)

Maki, thanks for the lights....

Dane, thanks sa sounds....

Diane, thank you sa Mac Book and 2 hair extensions....

LORD!!!! (Lord as in Lord Christian Gosingtian....) Thank you sa pagpicture during the play....then thanks din para sa paper fish....

CAST (Jonathan, Rob, Aly, Reg, Rach), thank you for cooperating with me, kahit na minsan demanding ako super....haha....super thank you, super wonderful job!!!!

Other people to thank....

Mrs. Kimpo, if I was never under your tap dancing class during first sem PE in Ateneo, I wouldn't have my tap plates, kahit na binili ko yun....and I might not have the inspiration to learn other dances with "tap" concerns, like Irish dance, Kathak and Flamenco....

CKSC School of Music (Mrs. Tan), thank you for providing me with the blue farmer-like shirt that we used in 2004 for the cultural presentation....ayan, nagamit ko ulit yung damit....hehe....thanks super...

CKSC Student Council and 4-5 Astreus '08, thank you for allowing me to arbor the 2 black cloths....hehe....obvious naman kung saan ko nagamit....

Danielle Ong, (my highschool classmate na Atenean din ngayon)....alam ko indirectly kang connected sa play, pero thank you....kasi....nagamit ko yung 3 hair extensions na pinagawa ko for our 3rd year travelogue ka Mrs. Cases....hanggang ngayon alagang alaga ko pa rin....thank you super....

Shirby Sy (former classmate and super super good friend), thank you sa gigantic safety pin. Dahil dun, naging safe kami. JOKE....thank you sa pic (kahit na binili ko pa rin sa tindahan niyo....haha....) kasi nagamit yun para sa Muslim costume hehe....

Friends (dami eh), thank you for being my friends (labo....haha)....you were my inspiration for this play....

MASCKS (Moving Actors' Society of Chiang Kai Shek)....thank you for turning me into the person that I am right now....especially my Ramayana family....at least yung nagawa ko dati naulit ko sa Ateneo, although hindi na ganun kasakit sa ulo....hahahaha....this play is easier than the Ramayana....na super haggard na ako nun....haha :D:D:D:D

Painting the Town Red: JANE'S FABULOUS 18th!!!!

-Emperor Villa, 6:30pm, smart casual/semi formal

-I wore my Indian top over my white Muslim garb, over my Thai rice pants. The red ribbon-belt was provided by Tina. I was supposed to look Indian, but later that night I realized that I looked more Mongolian. The day after the debut, I realized *again* that I looked more Kazakh than Mongolian....

-Tina and I surprised Jane with our live performance, a Chinese flute-violin duo. We played the never-ending-gasgas-na-gasgas-to-the-max-as-in Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin (The Moonlight Represents My Heart) *cheesy*. Haha....pero ok lang, our version was well....acoustic....haha....

-Jane was in a very very cute red attire. It matched the red backdrop however, kaya parang nawawala siya pag nasa stage siya....yung kamay, paa and mukha na lang ang nakikita. Hahahaha!!!!

-One of the dishes served was pata ata....so I asked my tablemates...."What part of the meat is blah blah blah blah....A. RUMP B. SHANK C. LOIN D. SIRLOIN"....*a tribute to Ms. Borja....*

-Onga pala, I hosted the event with Jane's kabarkada in UST, Celene Gonzales. We cliqued, just as Jane thought we would. Hahahaha!!!!

-Had fun being very very hyper that night. Hehe....Had fun meeting up with old chums too....

-The party ended about 10:30 or so....I went home with Clarisse :D:D:D:D

Makati Trip With Dream Girls. Hahahaha....Oh Well....

4-29-08, shopping day after concert practice. Sharlene, Jerrica and Josphine needed to buy matching golden shoes for the performance. The three of them decided to go to Glorietta to hunt for their shoes. I came along, so I could mess with them. Haha....I helped them in choosing their shoes, by the way. Hehe....I sat in the front seat, which was a pretty good spot for taking pictures while inside the car. The car was provided by Sharlene and her mom, Auntie Susan *thank you!!*. So there. I took some pics from Manila, to Makati....

Bea Caronongan's 18th!!!

Bea's 18th Summary: (words with " ** " are to be explained at the bottom page)

-I decided to wear orange that day kasi: I like orange, it's bright, a lot of people like it (orange is the new black daw), including Bea herself, Ena and other people (guys and girls alike) I know na walang kinalaman sa post na ito. HAHAHAHA....I'm so mean. Haha....Tapos. For my whole outfit, bali orange top, white pants, black belt and blue chucks. I decided to make my attire that way kasi the color combinations remind me of Cinq**. Hehe....

-Hinatid ako ng atsi ko (for those who don't understand, atsi = elder sister, Fukien) papunta sa house ni Bea sa Las Vista Village....nawala kami. Haha....pero we got there naman. Haha....

-Apparently, isa ako sa early ones na dumating, besides the usual family members and relatives.

-After 30 minutes or so, dumating sina Andrea and other blockmates ni Bea. Long time ko nang di nakita si Andrea; it was like....a bit more than 24 hours since the last time I saw her. HAHAHAHA....schoolmate ko si Andrea before....so there, nag-usap usap kami....tapos nakipag kulitan....haha....and cute ng abstract dress niya. Very Van Gogh-ish. Haha....

-Later later later later, dumating na ang mga BTY** people. Sa dinami dami ng mga tao, dumating lang sina Marty (BTY Babble Boy), Raffy (BTY Emo Boy) and Ena (BTY Beadle**). Kamukha daw ni Ena si VJ Sanya of Myx, according to A LOT of people. HAHAHAHA....

-Nakaorange, este, TANGERINE si Ena that night (gusto niya tangerine eh, kasi yun naman daw talaga. So sabi ko sakanya, ako naman ponkan. LABO), which makes us terno. We both like orange, and so does Bea Caronongan (si birthday girl). Haha....

-Ayon, after eating, usap usap, and took pictures sa front yard. We saw an orange ball and decided to play with it using our cams. Haha....

-I also met Bea's cousin. Grabe. Kachills. Galing tumugtog ng piano. I'M NOT WORTHY....(chant chant chant chant)....Super galing nung guy na yun, tapos he's a year younger than me ATA....Noreen** na Noreen noh!!!! Natutugtog niya mga frustration pieces ko. Hahahaha....

-Meron din dung ilaw na sisindi pag dumaan ka. We all wanted to feel how God felt nung nagkailaw. So sa kababawan ng aming kaligayahan, we each crossed the light thingy, tapos nung umilaw, we felt like we were God. Haha....

-We also went to the playgound sa tabi ng house ni Bea. Nagtakutan kami dun while playing with the seesaws and swing. Hahahaha....

-After a few hours, tipsy na maraming tao, including Bea. Haha....Hindi naman kami tipsy, kasi hindi kami uminom nang marami. Ako totally hindi uminom. Good boy ako eh. HAHAHAHA.

-I played with Bea's baby grand piano, kasi umalis na lahat ng relatives niya, including the "maestro" a.k.a. Bea's cousin.

Some memorable conversations:

1. (Marty looks at a chest beside the water dispenser)
Marty: Ui, sina Bea, may mahiwagang BAUL.
Raffy: Oonga eh....
Ena: Nasaan??
Gil: Sa tabi ng water dispenser.
Ena: I don't see anything!!
Marty and Raffy: Ayun oh!! Dun sa tabi!!
Ena: The box thing??
Gil: Oo
Ena: I thought BAUL was a like a VASE....or something....
Raffy: VASE??
Gil: BANGA yun Ena, BAUL is the CHEST....
Marty: Kaya pala tingin nang tingin si Ena, (mimics Ena, when she was looking for a vase instead of a chest) tapos "Nasan kaya yung vase??"
----THE MADNESS DOESN'T STOP THERE----
(paglabas, merong malalaking Chinese vases dun)
Ena: Oh, so this is the BAOG.
Gil: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (laughs indefinitely)
Gilbert: (Still laughing)
Gilbert: (Nope....still laughing)
Gilbert: Sorry Ena, haha....OF ALL THE WORDS NA "B", YUN PA TALAGA EH NOH....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
Ena: A, so this is a what??
Gilbert: BANGA. Hindi BAOG. Hahahaha....
-------------------(peace tayo Ena :D:D:D:D )

2. (Gilbert takes pictures of Raffy)
Raffy: Wag mo na akong kunan ng picture.
Gil: Ok
(after 2.5 seconds, pinicturan ulit si Raff)
Raffy: Sabing wag mo akong picturan eh.
Gil: OK. Wag na nga, baka magalit ka eh.
(after 1.5 seconds, pinicturan ulit si Raff)
Raffy: Wag na nga.
Gil: OK.
(after 5 minutes, pinictura ulit si Raf)
Raffy: Anu ba, sabing wag na nga eh.
Gil: Ok.
(After 2.5 seconds, pinicturan ulit si Raff)
Raffy: (looks at Gilbert with Raff's trademark smirk)
Gilbert: *click!!*
(WALA KANG TAKAS SAKIN DONG)....Peace tayo :D:D:D:D

VOCABULARY WORDS:

CINQ - my HS section, 4-5. Our section color was orange. I love Cinq so much, whether or not they care

BTY - "Better Than Yours", the name of my English Block, Blk. E07.
~~~~We're not saying our block is the best, we're just saying that it's BETTER THAN YOURS~~~~ (a simple, but highly philosophical phrase)
BEADLE - Atenean term for class leader. Since si Ena beadle namin, she's the one na pinakamalapit sa teacher. Hahahaha....
NOREEN - Noreen Paula Tan Ngo, a student from Chiang Kai Shek College (my alma mater). She's a batch lower, born with a gift in playing the piano. Pano, sa piano siya pinaglihi eh. Mom niya kasi pianist din. Super galing magpiano, as in, I'm not worthy talaga (chant chant chant chant). She can play my frustration pieces (yung mga pieces na gusto kong tugtugin pero hindi ko matugtog kasi wala pang 5 seconds sa piyesa bali na fingers ko)....Haha....She's a good friend of mine. Mabait. Besides excelling in piano under the great Raul Sunico in the UST Conservatory of music (dun siya nag-aaral ng piano), she's also a talented cheerdancer.
Yah Dharma Ke Pyaar: The Ramayana Story (Screenshots)
Ok, so I had this wild idea of taking pictures of people from the DVD version of the play....it's a result of boredom....haha....Sorry the pics are a bit unlcear. I also apologize for the disoriented sequence of the pictures....Here's why: the first part is alphabetically arranged for actors who had solo pictures. The second part is a mixed picture of non-solo pictures of the actors. The third consists of pictures by the dancers. The fourth, the singers, the fifth, the teachers (1 photo), the sixth, curtain call, and finally the seventh, are 2 pics of the tarp given to me by Ms. Chan....
I so miss this day (February 10, 2007), and all the experiences the cast had during practice season. I couldn't believe that I managed to do almost 14 or 15 big jobs for this play. Oh well....I always watch the DVD, so I won't miss Ramayana so much....This play is one of my biggest accomplishments, and I have a lot of people to thank for. Thank you very much, to the dancers, singers, cast, advisers, and other people who helped me with everything and cooperated with me during practice. Thank you also to the other people, like the ushers/usherettes, prompters, the batallion of guards and soldiers from Ayodhya, Mithala, Kiskinda and Lanka for you time in joining the play. Thank you also to the kind office of Chiang Kai Shek College for giving me an opportunity to show the students of CKSC not only the capabilities of the MASCKS's members, but also to present the students a form of literature not familiar to them, but worthy to watch. Thank you also CKSC for choosing me to receive the President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Awards for Excellence in Arts and Culture for this play....
Choti Bharat Yaatra 2 (Little India Journey 2)- With Me, Myself And I...
So when I went home from my last journey with Tina, I told my mom about every bit of the journey, of course including the rose milk. My mom was baffled by the idea of making a rose-flavored milk....a rose-flavored dairy product....or anything rose-flavored food/drink. Then, I decided to go to Little India again last March 18 to buy rose milk for my mom....It's also a chance to get a picture of the rose milk since Tina and I weren't allowed to photograph anything in Mr. Rosemilk Man's store.
It was TERRIBLY TERRIBLY HOT that day....but it didn't matter. I wasn't gonna stay long anyway. So I went back to Mr. Rosemilk Man's store....He wasn't there....only the Filipino employees were there....It didn't matter anyway; I continued to shop. Aside from barging in their refrigerator to get 4 bottles of Rose Milk, a bottle of Cardamom Milk and a bottle of Saffron Milk (I bought 1 of each, besides the rosemilk, because I wasn't sure if saffron and cardamom milk would taste good, so better safe than sorry), I decided to buy a pack of Maggi Instant Noodles. INDIAN Maggi Instant Noodles. Yes you heard me right. INDIAN. Maggi is an exaggeratedly famous brand in India. Everything is Maggi to them: Maggi soup, Maggi seasoning, Maggi Noodles, Maggi everything. Maggi products in the Philippines have nothing to say about Maggi products in India. India is the threshold of Maggi products I guess. I wonder if Hindus have a Maggi-god. They would call him Maggindra. His consort is Maggini. Both of them will have a son named Maggimalayagajendrannathsaddhusattinipayyillavukuttanam. I have no idea how to pronounce his name.
After getting my Malaysian-produced-curry-flavored-Indian-Maggi and my 6 bottles of milk, I went home. It cost me 205 pesos....haha....30 x 6bottles = 180 for the milk, plus 25 pesos for the Maggi. 205 Pesos. Yay.
I immediately shoved the rose milk bottle to my mom when she arrived. She drank it while eating Krispy Kreme for snack. As my mom tasted the rose milk, she said "Anu ba yan?? (giggle giggle) LASANG BULEKLEK!!!! (the pronunciation "buleklek" was intentional)". I giggled with her....and stole a Krispy Kreme from the box. Bad me....Haha....
After a day (Wednesday afternoon), I had an Indian snack at home. I had 2 ladoos, a bowl of curry Maggi and saffron milk. The brown-colored saffron milk tasted a like spiced-coffee-milk....which according to my mom, was better than the rose milk. I, on the other hand, was in favor of both flavors....Hehe....Oh yeah, about the Maggi. The Curry Maggi tasted a bit like....noodles dipped in spicy chili soup (take note, HOT and SPICY are DIFFERENT.) It was nice....just like Katong Laksa in a pack....not bad. Hehe....Thank you Maggi God Maggindra, Maggini and your son Maggimalayagajendrannathsaddhusattinipayyillavukuttanam. I still have no idea how to pronouce their son's name.
2 days after, yesterday (Friday), I had a taste of the last kind of milk- the cardamom milk. For a green-colored milk, it was pretty good. My mom said that this was the best of the three. I was in favor of all three....hehe :D:D:D:D
Anyway, here are the pics of the 3 kinds of milk....I'm sorry Maggi, I didn't picture you. Hehe....It's ok, the Maggi packaging is just like the one's in the Philippines....the same yellow plactic packaging and the red and yellow logo. Thank you Maggi gods....Hehe....
**Hindi Terms to take note of:
1.GULAB - rose
2.KESAR - saffron
3.ELAICHI - cardamom
March 17, 2008 English Debate Day 2
So this day, the last 2 groups were assigned to debate. Since I'm not a member of either 1 of the 2 groups....(refer to March 14, 2008 album), I'm wearing my casual shirt. Of course, even if I'm not wearing my formal/semi-formal wear, cam-whoring is still a must....HAHAHAHA....Oh yeah, I forgot. This is not in the Escaler Hall unlike the March 14 album; the debate on this day was set in Faura AVR....so notice the difference....hehe....Still....the room has the pretty podium....HAHA....
Choti Bharat Yaatra (Little India Journey)----With Good Friend Maria Cristina Ong.... :) :) :) :)
HAY GRABEH THE DAY (March 15, 2008)!!!! So nakakapagod!!!! Well I was supposed to go with Pei Mei that day, but she told me the night before that she wasn't available for personal reasons. Luckily, my good friend Maria Cristina Falls....este Ong....was available....I SO OWE YOU THAT DAY TINA!!!! THANKS SUPER!!!! Kasi ganito yun. I needed to interview some Indians for my freakin' Fil paper due to lack of sources. My topic was all about Indians in the Filipino community....There. The interview started out roughly....but things became smoother after a short while....BUTI NA LANG....hehe....so ayun. It was sooooo fun....because I got to do my homework while having fun, plus bonding time with Tina....hehe....YEY!!!!
Trip summary:
1. Went to Khalsa Dewan Sikh Temple but they didn't let us in....busy daw
eh....tsk tsk tsk tsk....sayang....
2. Went to Assad Minimart to interview a Filipino employee....then we each
bought VIMTO, a raspberry flavored soda....hehe....
3. Went to the store next door....interviewed the storeowner....then I bought a
money envelope with a coin worth 1 Rupee (rougly 1 peso din) for my dad. My
dad likes to collect coins kasi....you can say he's a numismatist....haha....The
envelope is just like the Chinese angpao/ampao, pero it has more
designs/colors....it has the same purpose, money for luck. Ayun.
4. We went to another store next door (no photos available kasi di daw puwedeng
magpic sa loob). After the interview, we bought Rosemilk (yes, rose flavored
milk, a delicacy in India), first time namin parehong uminom nun, then
nickname namin ni Tina sakanya ROSEMILK MAN (for Ateneans and other
"fans" of Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things....HE'S NOTHING LIKE
THE ORANGEDRINK-LEMONDRINK MAN....)
5. Went back to Assad Minimart....kasi nakalimutan ng lolo niyo (ako yun....)
yung Samosas at Ladoo na pilit ipakakain kay Tina....HAHAHAHA....(samosa
= the Indian empanada, with vegetarian filling. ladoo= it's one of India's version
of the Filipino "kakanin". It's sweet, coconut-y, nutt-y, and curr-y, kasi it has
spices in it, one being curry....haha....)
6. Went to Assad Cafe to eat....We ordered Naan (Indian flat bread), Chapattis
(Indian flat bread, pero iba ang texture with the naan) and Chicken Masala to
go with the bread (Chicken Masala literally means "spiced chicken". Basically
it's just chicken with curry and other spices ). After that, we sipped out Vimto,
ate the samosas and shared 1 ladoo....
7. We went to a third store na katabi ng Assad Minimart....well, all the Indians
were busy eh, tapos walang mabili, so we left the store....haha....now, off to
the Hindu Temple....
8. We had a procession to the Hindu Temple....buti na lang the high priest
(Ashok Maharaj, maharaj ang title niya)could accommodate us. We
interviewed him on the second floor, with all the statues. He was a fun person
to interview....know why in a moment. He was surprised too when I talked to
him in my stocked-Hindi phrases, words and terms. Then picture picture with
the gods....then ayun, we went home....hehe :D:D:D:D....tapos realizing we
had no pic of us together....we had one in the LRT station....
TOP 10 CONVERSATIONS FOR THE DAY:
10. Gilbert: "So Little India is a fairly small community, smaller than
Chinatown....then baka mashock ka sa amoy ng mga spices nila...."
Tina: "Surprise mo na lang ako pagdating dun, para may adventure di ba??"
Gilbert: "Ok, basta dapat mong kumain ng Indian food. Haha...."
Tina: "Um....I'll try...."
Gilbert: "YEY!!!!"
9. Gilbert: "Mamaya pupunta tayo diyan (points to a street sign) sa Mahatma
Gandhi Street. Anjan kasi ang Hindu Temple."
Tina: "So pumunta ba si Mahatma Gandhi diyan??"
8. Gilbert: "OMG....anu tong menu (pertaning to the mejo pricy Indian food)"
Tina (akala I was pertaining to the unfamiliar food): "Eto oh, a more familiar
menu" (hands the other menu, kasi hindi lang Indian food meron
dun sa Assad Cafe, meron ding Filipino and Chinese food)
Gilbert: "NO!!!! KAKAIN KA NG INDIAN FOOD!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA"
7. Tina(looks at some packs of nuts): "Gilbert tingnan mo!!!! Ang mura ng mga
nuts dito!! Wala pang 100php per pack!! Sa
Ongpin mga ganito, same pack, mga more
than 100php na!!"
Gilbert: "Oh, bibili ka??"
Tina: "Hindi."
NOTE: The funny thing here is that....3 times nangyari tong conversation na ito in
3 different stores that all sell nuts (first sa Assad, then isa store ni
Rosemilk man, and dun sa store na walang pumainsin samin dahil busy
sila)....haha....
6. Gilbert (to Ashok Maharaj (AM)): "Namaste (means hello), ok, so for a brief
introduction, (hingal hingal), hahahaha....so again, for a brief....
(hingal hingal)....hay, for a br-....whoa!! (hingal hingal) Omaygad it's
hoootttt....hahaha....(hingal hingal) I'm sorry....hahahaha....whew....
(hingal some more)"
AM: "Relax....haha...."
Tina: "(giggles)"
Gilbert: (isip sa sarili: I. Don't Feel. Any Pressure. Right Now. Only....HEAT....)
5. Tina (referring to the rosemilk): "Wow, ang sarap ng rosemilk. Sa una, di mo
alam kung anu yung lasa, tapos after nalunon,
may after-taste nung rose...."
Gilbert: "Yap, sarap nga eh, first time ko rin to....always wanted to try it, and
now I did....sarap...."
Tina: "Onga eh, parang naaamoy mo yung rose sa lalamunan mo...."
4. Tina: "Hay, mang-iinterview ka ang formal ng language mo, marunung naman
palang magTagalog yung mga Indians."
Gilbert: "Ayaw mo nun, formal interview."
Tina: "Formal ah, pero biglaan ang interview mo...."
Gilbert: "Ayaw mo nun, formal ambush interview...."
3. Gilbert: "No no, I only speak LITTLE HINDI...."
AM: "Oh, you speak little, but GOOD Hindi........SPEAK!!!!
COME ON....SPEAK!!!!"
Gilbert: "Uhhhh....(starteld, starts to blabber something in Hindi....then stops)"
AM: "Go, speak some more!!!!"
Gilbert: "(panics more....blabbers things again....then....) I only speak little
Hindi...."
AM: "(nods, and smiles.)"
2. Si Tina napaluhod sa kalye....habang naglalakad
Tina: "GILBERT!!!!!!! WAIT!!!!!!!!!!"
Gilbert: "OMG!!!! ANU NANGYARI SAYO?!?!?!?! Buti tinawag mo ako kundi
baka naiwanan na kita!!!!"
Tina: "(hingal hingal) IKAW KASI EH!!!!"
Gilbert: "Anu ginawa ko sayo??"
Tina: "NAGPAPATAWA KA KASI EH!!!! Tapos iniimagine ko yung mga
sinasabi mo!!!! Ayan!!!! Muntik na akong magcollapse!!!!" (I was telling her
jokes kasi, recalling funny moments of the day, and imitating the Indian
accent earlier....)
Gilbert: "OMG I'M SO SORRY!!!!" (pero nagpatawa pa rin ako afterwards....
haha, sorry Tina, I couldn't help myself....hehe....)
1. AM (shows a long cloth that seems to cover something): "Under this cloth is
the Guru Granth Sahib (GGS). It's the holy book of the Sikhs."
Gilbert: "Wait, this is a Hindu temple, but why do you have the GGS here??"
AM: "Oh, everybody likes the GGS, so we borrowed this from the Sikh
Temple. We even have it in 3 versions. One in Gurmukhi, one in Hindi,
and another in Sindhi."
(Tina and Gilbert were wondering if AM could show them the GGS....but.... )
AM: "If you get this book, and throw it, or disrespect it, the Sikhs will come
with their swords and they will HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU!!!!"
Gilbert: "OH MY GOD........." (buti na lang di ko tinanong....)
Tina: "ANO?!?!" (buti na lang di ko rin tinanong noh, Gilbert....)
AM: "It's actually A GOOD THING, because the Sikhs are just showing their
respect to the GGS. So again, if you throw it, or do something bad to it,
the Sikhs will come with their swords and kill you!!!!"
Gilbert: "Owkiei.... (still shocked, fearing that an angry mob of Sikhs is outside
with their swords)"
Tina: "(shocked....tapos, NR na lang sa gulat....)"
