Pamper Sunday Surprise: No Other Word But "Wow"

- January 29, 2012, Sunday.

- I don't like going out on Sundays. Sunday is supposed to be my "lazy day" of the week, so I can fully rest my body when the weekday comes up again. Today's adventure, however, was supposed to be a Saturday-night dinner that didn't push through; Crizeel, my close friend Cristina's sister, was busy doing her thesis photoshoot last night, and was too tired to have dinner near our area.

- Both of us decided to have a short afternoon out, so both of us can unwind from our own busy schedule. I fetched Crizeel at her house at around 2 in the afternoon, and walked all the way to Escolta. Crizeel hasn't seen the wonders of Escolta on foot, and I wanted to expose her to one of Chinatown's hidden treasures. Most stores and buildings were closed, as it was a Sunday, so our Escolta walk didn't last too long.

- Aside from showing Crizeel the usual must-sees in Escolta, we were able to come across Po Chuan An Temple near Escolta. The guard allowed us to see the temple, so Crizeel and I both rode the elevator to the 9th floor, and went around the Buddhist temple. The design of the temple was a bit Vajrayana-like (Vajrayana = Tibetan Buddhist,) although the Buddhist gods/statues present didn't look a lot like Vajrayana gods. We took a few photos before continuing our Escolta walk.

- While walking in the quieter streets of Sunday Escolta, Cristina called Crizeel, asking where we were. She apparently wanted to join us, even though she just came from - a bit tired- from an overnight trip with her best girl buddies. I told Cristina to meet us in front of Shopper's Mart.

- Crizeel and I didn't take long before we reached Shopper's Mart, and met Cristina. Before going to our favorite dimsum place, we stopped by, again, at The Tea Life, to satisfy our milk tea craving. Apart from ordering my favorite green-tea milk tea, I also tried their pudding ice cream. Just as expected, the giant pudding ice cream (I ordered a strawberry-flavored one) exceeded my expectations. It wasn't too sweet, and the matcha-ice-cream base added a "milk-tea" scent to the whole mix. The pudding had a mild fruity flavor, and the strawberry syrup added the little sweet kick. Crizeel had one too, after seeing how much I enjoyed mine.

- The three of us walked towards Golden Fortune Soler, dropping by at our friend Shirby's store along the way, taking photos and chatting with her a little bit, before going on.

- At Golden Fortune, we had a lot of dimsum (and air conditioning) to pamper us with, especially after the hot sun pinching our skin. I gave Crizeel an angpao, since she's been working too hard for her thesis; I told her to share the golden-wrapped candy coins with Cristina.

- While eating and sharing a book of stories each, I encountered college friends Anne and Samuel. I met Anne earlier this afternoon, and Samuel arrived with his family later in the afternoon.

- Cristina, Crizeel, and I decided to leave at around 6pm, noticing that the ground was wet from an apparent short drizzle that feel earlier. I stopped by at Cristina and Crizeel's house before going home, since they wanted me to lend me their external hard drive, containing episodes from the show, Running Man. I invited them to come to my house, so we could hang our more while the files were transferring.

- The files took longer to transfer than expected, since I didn't know that there were "that much" episodes. I just entertained Cristina and Crizeel, now with their younger sister Kimberly, by showing them photos, videos, and some of my cultural collections at home. I think it took an hour before the transfer was finished.

- The last agenda for the night was supposed to be a coffee/latte session at the nearby Seattle's Best, although we found out that it already closed for the day; it was past 8pm. We just decided to stay in Cafe France, right across Seattle's, to end the night. Since Cristina and Kimberly were too tired and sleepy, they went ahead, while Crizeel and I chatted while sipping our tall-glassed lattes, and slowly finishing our (light) food.

- We both went home at quarter past 9, Nearly - or more than- 5 hours later than the time I thought I'd be able to reach home and rest. I am still a bit tired from today's trip, but I'm glad I was able to brush some of last week's stress away. We all have had too much surprises today, and hopefully the coming week will have good surprises for us as well.

And I Thought The Crowd Died Down: Chinese New Year 2012 Second Episode

- Janaury 23, 2012, Monday, Chinese New Year.

- This is possibly one of the rare family/relative-related posts that I'd be posting.

- My mom told me today that we needed to go back to my grandmom's house today, since today was the exact day of the lunar new year. Still tired and sluggish from yesterday's pre-new-year celebration, I unexpectedly took a nap in the early afternoon, just before my cousin's family visited us.

- My mom and I headed to Binondo after my cousin's family left, and met my aunt in front of their alma mater so we could watch the parade. We also tagged along our helper, so she could see how the Chinese celebrate the lunar new year. Sadly, we later received word that the parade started earlier, since the mayor arrived earlier.

- The four of us had a wild goose chase with the dragons and lions scattered along the streets of Chinatown. Since the streets were not off-limits to cars like yesterday, both cars and people have a hard time walking through the color-splashed Chinatown.

- People started to crowd in one random corner, and lo and behold, was the newscaster Mike Enriquez. I tried so hard to have a picture with him, especially with the number of people wanting to do the same, and the orange body guards that kept shooing people away. After a few attempts, and a few random shots of the merrymaking, I had a lucky shot with him a feet or two away from me, and with him looking at my camera. Teehee.

- The four of us window-shopped at the Santa-Cruz bound side of Ongpin, and found a random stall that allowed people to put on a lion-dance mask for free. Of course, I grabbed the opportunity to have my picture taken as well. My goodness, the lion head was a bit heavy.

- We later had to meet my cousin and his family again, somewhere in Binondo, and my aunt invited them to try out The Tea Life, the milk-tea place I recommended to my mom and my aunt. The two mainland ladies who owned the stall were surprised to see me with a big group of milk tea disciples in their shoebox-small store. Fortunately, all of them liked the milk tea, especially the green tea milk tea, and agreed with my description of The Tea Life's milk teas- "you can taste the tea and the milk separately, but you can also taste them together. Their tea is not too sweet, but not like water."

- Just as we were about to head to my grandmom's house, I met Audrey again, with her photographer friends; I saw her last night, coincidentally, on my way to my grandmom's house too. Haha.

- At my grandmom's house, we rested, and I finally met my new nephew, JB. (Another cousin's son.) He has really big cheeks, and really big eyes.

- We all left home at around 6:30, and the two babies' seemed to have drained themselves as well. As for me, I'm just glad that I unconsciously brought my adventure bag - especially my camera - with me today. Happy new year again everyone!!

The Majestic Welcoming: The Dragon's Entrance, The People's Celebration

- January 22, 2012, Sunday.

- With the Chinese new year fast approaching, I invited a few friends to celebrate the lunar new year with me - at least the day before the year of the water dragon.

- I met my friend Oi Hing in the midpoint of our houses, and quickly walked to President Tea House, since we were late for our 12 noon lunch. Nellie was already there, waiting for us, although she couldn't grab a table since the restaurant was fully-packed, and just as chaotic as the whole of Chinatown. Oi Hing and I even passed by the Korean grocery to greet the Korean owner a "Happy New Year" (Saehae bok manhi padeuseyo!!,) since Koreans also celebrate the lunar new year. They call it "seolnal" or "seollal."

- Oi Hing and I arrived at around 12:30, with Nellie trying her best to place us on the waiting list. Finally, I was able to halt the wandering-and-busy waitress, and place us on the list. We were seated an hour later. HAHA. (I also passed by my friend Shirby's store just to check if she was there, so we'd visit again if she was.)

- When we were seated, I immediately gave Nellie and Oi Hing their angpaos, or red envelopes, with a red ballpen and 2 Flat Tops each. The angpaos weren't fancy, but I thought it 's be nice to give them something for new year.

- The three of us had taro duck, hot shrimp salad, and a bowl of yangchao fried rice. Since the restaurant staff were all in a hurry and a bit confused, we were given a wrong dish that we were all tempted to eat -as long as they don't charge us- since we were really hungry from all waiting for our table, and braving the crowd on the way to the restaurant. Oi Hing treated lunch since her birthday was coming up. (Thanks Oi Hing!!)

- We finished our simple lunch 2 hours later, and all set to explore the street bazaar outside, a.k.a. "The First Pedestrian Day" of Ongpin; Ongpin Street was off limits to cars, since stalls selling and presenting various aspects of the Chinese cultures were set up there, as well as a stage for the day-long cultural performance.

- The three of us strolled through Ongpin after a second visit to Shirby's store, and pausing a bit each time we saw someone we knew. The street was paraded by a mob of mixed tourists - both local and foreign - as well as those like us who call Chinatown as our home, or second home.

- The stalls present showed calligraphy, Chinese paper folding styles, Chinese books, seasonal ornaments, paper-cutting, food (ehem, Eng Bee Tin.) Some stalls were also occupied by the Charity First foundation, and other Buddhist or Chinese organizations,

- I was able to buy myself a Chinese yoyo, a Chinese ornament, and a big rosary. I felt that I had to buy a rosary one of these days, after realizing that I have five (or more) religious paraphernalia from other religions than my own Catholic religion. (Guilty Catholic. Haha.)

- I decided to wear my rather formal red tangzhuang, and my salmon-colored hanbok pants (paji) to feel the "Chinese-ness" of the event. I fake-ranted to Nellie and Oi Hing about how people only noticed my attire, but didn't bother to interview me, or take a picture of me; I was a bit jealous of Ryan Bang, a Philippine-celebrity of Korean descent, who was being chased around by people in Ongpin. He was in Chinatown interviewing people for the comedy show Banana Split. Half an hour later after ranting, a lady asked me if she could have a photo taken with me, because of my costume. HAHAHAHA. Talk about luck.

- We also saw a model having a photoshoot in the middle of the Chinese madness of Ongpin. I don't know why she was there, or for what photoshoot that was.

- We went to and fro Ongpin until around 5pm, when we were a bit tired. Nellie decided to stay at Starbucks, hoping that not a lot of people were there, and gladly there wasn't. We were about to buy drinks when Nellie's parents asked her to come home. Oi Hing and I also decided to leave.

- Instead of going home, my mom asked me to meet her at Ongpin, since I'd be having dinner at my grandmom's house. I saw her and my aunt in the middle of the street, and watched the cultural performance until it ended at 7pm. I had dinner at my grandmom's place, and went home with my mom at 9pm.

- I had a lot of fun this afternoon, and I'm glad I took the challenge of moving with the crowd with my long-sleeved attire. The three of us were able to see some friends we haven't seen in a while, and were able to immerse ourselves more in our own Chinese culture. As of today, one of my tasks in life would be....to figure out how this Chinese yoyo works. :)) :)) :)) :))

Neighbor Love: Cultural Photoshoot "CNY" Style!!

- January 21, 2012, Saturday.

- The lunar new year will be on the 23rd (this Monday,) and I thought of having a photoshoot at home since my mom would be away for the evening. I asked my neighbor Charmaine and my former-neighbor Riezeryl if they'd like to help out with the photoshoot; I promised I'd serve them dinner if they did. Both of them agreed, and thought it would be an unusual but colorful way to hang out.

- I called both of them to come over after my mom left for the night, and set up my living room as a studio, again, while waiting for both of them to come. I was just about to finish setting up when they came. That ought to have given them some time to rest before the shoot. I also played some music c/o my iPod so we'd be in the mood for the photoshoot. I played various folk/world music to get into that cultural mood during the shoot, and played random modern music during breaks.

- Once set, I started the shoot with a makeshift ao-dai to look Vietnamese. The Vietnamese call the lunar new year "Tet." I held a yellow fan and a "lixi," which is the Vietnamese name for the Chinese "angpao," or "hongbao."

- The next two sets were for the Tibetan "Losar" and the Mongolian "Tsagaan Sar." Both cultures share almost the same practices when it comes to the lunar/ lunisolar new year. For both shots, I presented a hada/khada. A hada or khada is a type of scarf that Tibetans (adopted later by Mongolians,) give out for well wishes, or in welcoming special guests.

- Since I'd be having a major costume change before the next set, I asked both of them to join me for dinner. As promised, I served them dinner, and so we all shared a nice tray of dumplings. I would've served more food, but I was out this afternoon (see last post.) Since there were only three of us, the dumplings were enough for us.

- After dinner, we proceeded with the Chinese set. I pretty much wore what I wore yesterday, and presented a small round tray with golden goodies and decors, while holding a Chinese fan (the ones used for fan dances.)

- I soon changed my attire to my hanbok and magoja for the Korean "Seolnal" or "Seollal." Just before my shoot, I had a short intermission number, by trying to do a fan dance, since a traditional Korean song just played in my iPod. Haha. I presented a persimmon (to represent any round fruit,) which is usually given and eaten during the lunar new year. This is also the same for the Chinese and the Vietnamese.

- The photoshoot for the lunar new year was technically over, but I also decided to shoot my "Songkran" set while we were at it. "Songkran" is the Thai new year, and it will be celebrated in April, together with the Cambodian, Lao, Oriya, and Sri Lankan new years.

- After the Songkran set, I had fun with my friends by dressing them up with my costumes. I knew how Riezeryl had a growing interest in the colorful Thai culture, so I decided to dress her up as a Thai. Since she was already dressed up, complete with the golden mokot (crown,) I dressed Charmaine up as an Indian, with a violet cloth as a sari. Later on, I dressed Riezeryl up as a Korean. Since I had an extra magoja in my room, I wore that, so out outfits would match.

- All of us quickly cleaned up after the shoot. I can't believe how quickly I was able to stash my costumes back in my closet properly, while the other two removed the background cloths from the walls and folded them neatly. Just a jiffy after we finished packing up, my mom came home, unaware of the craziness we had during her dinner out. The three of us settled down a bit after packing up, and talked a bit, before the two left for home.

- I'd like to thank Charmaine and Riezeryl, again, for a wonderful cultural photoshoot. Happy lunar new year to everyone!!

21 on 21: Matching Trays, Matching Shirts, Matching Cupcakes

- Janaury 21, 2012, Saturday.

- My friend Clarisse turned 21 today, and so it was an excuse to for me, Clarisse, and Marga to have a small get together. Clarisse asked me to drop by her house at 11:30, and so I had a chaotic morning finalizing my gift for Clarisse before going to her house.

- I was at her house at 11:30 sharp, and off we went to Hanobe, a Chinese restaurant in Banawe. Both of us waited for a long time for Marga to arrive, and we were both skin-and-bone after she arrived.

- We ate too much dimsum and a big platter of noodles until we we too fat to walk. Gladly, Clarisse' car was already there, and we were on our way back to Clarisse' house.

- We had a nice time hanging out at Clarisse' house. We even wore the shirts Clarisse' gave us from her trip to Thailand, just to have a photoshoot. Coincidentally, Kevin, Clarisse, brother, was also wearing a shirt sort of similar to ours. Teehee. So cute.

- The three of us spent the afternoon talking about random stuff, and eating Clarisse' chocolate cupcakes. It was nothing fancy, but definitely special. :) :) :) :)

"Casual Fridays" - Chinese Style: The Red, The Fans, The Mandarin Hat

- January 20, 2012, Friday.

- The Chinese New Year is coming up, and my alma mater decided to have a school-wide casual Friday today. Students were asked to wear something red, or something Chinese (or both.) Since I would be visiting today to teach the theater group I love ever so much, I played along with the gimmick and wore my Chinese attire to work, and to my alma mater. I normally wear my Chinese attire during Chinese New Year (as well as the Mid-Autumn Festival,) and so I thought the timing was appropriate too.

- I decided to wear a red tangzhuang as my top, my blue-and-gold and dragon-embroidered pants as my bottom, both of which matched my red-and-white mandarin hat. I adorned myself by wearing a golden pipa necklace that used to be a keychain. I also brought my two Chinese fans just for the sake of adding more culture and color to my attire. Haha.

- Today's agenda was just as the usual, directing here and there, being a conductor and mentor here and there. Today wasn't exactly the best day at work, but I'm glad my late-afternoon theater somehow made my day better.

- After the practice, a few of us with Ms. Nica Isip, their adviser, rested for a while and chatted about random things. If I hadn't checked the time, we wouldn't have realized that we stayed until almost 7:30. Well, that was a well-deserved rest after a really productive and cultural afternoon. :) :) :) :)

Fiesta Despedida: Adios Para Siempre, Creo Que No!!

- January 15, 2012, Sunday.

- My friend Michelle will be leaving for the States in a week, and so invited some of us friends over to her house in a not-too-short notice. She wanted to have a small gathering before she leaves on the 22nd, and she also wanted us to join in the merrymaking of the Tondo Fiesta.

- My friend Margarette (Michelle's best friend) and I met this afternoon, before going to Michelle's house. We arrived at around 1pm, and were the only guests to have arrived so far. Michelle quickly led us to the dining table, where both Filipino and Mexican dishes were laid as a mini-banquet.

- What interested me most was the do-it-yourself tostadas. Fried round, flat, and taco-shell-like sheets served as the base, and each is to be adorned/decorated by a spoonful of mayo, salsa chicken shreds, bean paste, lettuce shreds, carrot shreds, grated cheese, chicken broth, and a blob of sour cream. Topping the mound with jalapenos and spicy salsa is optional, but definitely a good "cherry" on the mound. (It was so good that I had three of those the whole afternoon.)

- We spent the cozy early afternoon by listening to Mexican music, courtesy of Michelle's dad, and with Michelle showing my some of her Latina moves. Music has always been in the blood of the Latinos, as well as dancing.

- Some of Michelle's college friends came later on, and celebrated with us. Some of them had a game of mahjong and cards, while Marga and I had a corner to ourselves, and looking at some photo albums. Soon, Michelle brought out the DVD from her debut, which brought out a lot of laughs from all of us.

- We ate more after viewing the video, and talked a lot. It was fun getting to know some of Michelle's friends, and dowing more tostadas while I was at it.

- We all left at around 6pm, just as the city lights created more chaos in the streets, and the karaoke singers crowding the skies more. We all walked back to Tutuban until we all parted ways.

- The afternoon felt more like a fiesta than a despedida, and saved everyone from the usual dramas of despedidas. Instead, Michelle and her family filled out hearts (and tummies) with her love and culture. We may not see her a lot after she leaves, but we will always take with us all her love and our fond memories with her. :) :) :) :)

** The shirt I wore today was the shirt Michelle gave to me after she trip to Indonesia two years ago. :) :) :) :)

Plans and Changes of Plans: Friendship Saturday Whaddup.

- January 14, 2012, Saturday.

- My Saturday has been the usually-theater-loaded Saturdays I've had these days. It was great to have adapted to the sudden changes to the play, and the musicians were alert and cooperative too. I'm proud of them since they were able to understand the new piece after a few runs. The actors have improved a lot too, which gave us big sighs of relief. The singers, after hearing the song a few times, were also able to sing well.

- We had lunch at McDonald's soon, and had a nice time bonding with each other, even if we were a bit cramped into one small area at the back of McDonald's. We promptly went back to school at around 1pm, and continued with rehearsals.

- The other set of musicians arrived in the afternoon, and they were also quick to understand the new piece. Aside from this, and training another actor, the afternoon had been pretty laid back.

- After rehearsals, I was told that my friends Leanne and Cristina were at the kitchen with the other girl scouts, and so I decided to visit them. I discovered later on that they were preparing international dishes for some sort of mini-cook-off. They offered me to be one of the judges.

- I guess I was too harsh with some of the scouts, since I asked them some questions after each representative explained her group's dish. I didn't expect them to know the answer to my questions; I just wanted them to guess, and I'd reveal the answer at once anyway. Oh well, at least they seemed to have enjoyed "entertaining" us with their food.

- Tasting the food was the part of the afternoon, some were more authentic than others, but I could say that they really did a great job - to think none of them are "professional chefs."

- After the cook-off, Leanne, Tina, and I later went to 168 to look for some things I need to buy before having dinner with another friend. My friend texted me that she was sick, so I asked Tina and Leanne if they wanted to have dinner with me.

- We later proceeded to One Tea to buy my green tea milk tea, and proceeded to President for dinner. We ordered small dishes since we were half-full from the cook-off food.

- The three of us stayed there until 9pm, just talking and trying our best to finish out food. It was nice being semi-fancy too, since the three of us only meet once in a blue moon these days. I'm sad that I wasn't able to meet my other friend (get well soon please,) but at least I was able to spend more time with Tina and Leanne. :D:D:D:D

No Voice, No Problem: All Day Theater Day

- January 7, 2012, Saturday.

- 2012 hasn't been kind to me so far, since I haven't had a single sick-free day since the year started. Today, my sneezing continued, as well as a case of repressed coughing. Instead of resting, I still opted to go to MASCKS today to teach.

- I met everyone in front of the faculty after my 8-9am piano lesson, and began our session at 9:30 in the usual room. I continued dealing with the violinists and the flautist. Despite my repressed coughs and sneezing, I was fairly hyper for a "sick guy." I also handled some people in acting. One of my violinists' sister, Kristine's little sister,
visited us. She's one of the most adorable things on Earth. The little second grader seated quietly at the back while we were a bit busy, and later gave me two plastic balloons she made. I was never great at handling fragile plastic balloons, and so I popped both of them by accident. :|:|:|:|

- We ended out session at 12:30 roughly, had a long long long long lunch at Eat Fresh with Ms. Isip and some of the members, and went back to school to do the MASCKS bulletin board.

- I never liked making bulletin boards since forever, and might have had rare moments of enthusiasm in making them when I was a lot younger. Today was one of those relived rare moments; I felt young helping them with the bulletin board design. I never liked handling glitter too, a main material in our planned bulletin board design, but I strangely found it fun to sprinkle glitter today.

- I lost my voice in the afternoon, but still kept on talking. I really can't live without talking, especially around people dear to me. I did find myself feeling a whole lot tired afterwards though.

Epilogue: As I was walking home, voiceless, from CKSC, I saw my friend-and-neighbor, Bless, in Shakey's. I stopped by to say hi and chat a little, this time heavily using actions and sign language, and whispering minimally.

- I lost my voice today, but I have gained a lot, and accomplished a lot. Meeting Bless was even a bonus. I'm resting my voice now, and since I communicate with people via online chat, well, it's won' be difficult to say more words. Haha.

Super Fail Junior: The Shooting That Never Was, And The Food Consolation After.

- January 2, 2011, Monday.

- First of all, happy new year!! Yay!!

- My new year did not go pretty well, since I had a tummy-ache and slight fever yesterday. I'm well today, but decided to rest, so I can fully recover. Since I didn't really want to go out, I decided to continue my youtube Arabic lessons.

- Early this afternoon, my friend Melissa kept on telling me about Super Junior's (Suju) Kyuhyun, Siwon, and Eunhyuk shoot around Manila, and wanted to check them out. The three Suju members were at Eastwood this morning, and at SM Mall of Asia this early afternoon. Even though MOA was nearer to my house, I didn't want to travel all the way to Pasay just to see the shoot. I knew Suju, but am not a big fan; I am still a big SHINee fan until now (and I saw four out of five of them last 2009. Teehee.)

- I didn't want to go to MOA since I just got out of a fever, but Melissa "alerted" me when she got news that the three were on their way to Intramuros. Since Intramuros was quite near our area, compared to MOA and especially Eastwood, I agreed to go with her.

- I met Melissa moments later in Chinatown, and rode a jeep to Intramuros. We received word that the shoot will be at Casa Manila, and thanks to my handy-dandy map, like Dora, we were able to find our way around.

- Melissa and I caught some foreigners dancing for the commercial Suju were shooting, although everyone was obviously waiting for the three K-Pop idols to come out of the bus. The staff had a difficulty managing the big crowd, so much so that they had to get an ELF (Super Junior's official fan club) officer to "ask a favor" from everyone to move away, so the members could come down and shoot.

- Discipline is truly a problem in the country, and so while many from the crowd followed the orders, some "wild" fangirls allegedly "shocked" one of the Suju members, by attempting to grab him just as he was reaching for the door to open it. The three members ran back into the depths of the curtained bus, never to be seen again. Some fans from the other side of the bus were able to get better glimpses of Suju's members, since the members would occasionally peek and wave to the fans. Unfortunately, they never waved to our side, although I was able to catch a short short short short glimpse of Siwon's face. Melissa was luckier. She saw some of them longer. I really salute that girl's fangirl skills. :)) :)) :)) :))

- The crew decided to pack up, and the last time, they were serious, which of course disappointed everyone. Melissa and I were surprised to find our kindergarten teachers there (Ms. Chan and Zhang Lao Shi.) Our teachers were both kind enough to give us a lift back home, although I got of at Binondo together with Melissa, so both of us could have a late afternoon snack.

- Melissa and I saw our friend Thea in front of Shoppers' Mart, and "kidnapped" her. We asked to join us, since she was just killing time while waiting for her dad to get off work.

- The three of us had a nice meal at Mr. Ube, while talking about the failures of the shoot, and the inevitable random high school memories. Oh the days of youth and calligraphy.

- Melissa and I might not have seen Super Junior (ok maybe she did,) but at least we got to bond together again. Thea was the cherry on top of this afternoon, a cherry so thin, Melissa wanted to donate some fats to her. As for me, well, it was a good attempt, but yeah, I'm still pretty much a SHINee boy (sour grapes will be sour.)
