- I had a last minute adventure planning last night with Tina and Jane through YM, since we haven't gone out for an adventure in a while. Cheers to sembreak.
- We met at Tina's house around 9am, and rode the LRT, MRT and jeep to Rockwell. Like before, we "marched" towards MaSan Restaurant. We arrived at MaSan so early that not only were we the first customers there, but the staff weren't in their proper uniforms as well. (Their customers usually come during dinnertime. Lunchtime is usually a slow time for them.) They were a bit surprised to see 3 random customers come in around 11:30am.
- We ate much, had free/bottomless appetizers, bowls of seaweed soup, and pineapple wedges. Aside from that, the service was superb as always, making me give them a generous tip. By the way, Ms. Lee (the manager in a hanbok) wasn't around because she was in Korea :| :| :| :|
- We stopped by a Wang Mart and bought some Korean ice cream. We had a fun time talking to the staff there; there were very friendly. Jane even made a "special" friend. HAHAHAHA.
- Before going to the other Korean stores, we saw a tiny frog on the street. It didn't look like a common frog, so we took pictures of it. The other people around us looked a bit strangely at us, and later found the frog "amusing" as well.
- We visited the other Korean stores, but we couldn't really but anything because the things were really expensive.
- We stopped over at Rockwell and saw food stalls giving out free samples at the ground floor. We had a little detour in our adventure itinerary and stuffed ourselves with free food samples.
- After eating and commenting on the samples, we rode a jeep towards the Guadalupe Ferry station, bought tickets, and waited a short while before the next boat to Escolta came.
- After getting off at Escolta, we walked towards Cafe Mezzanine, and had our afternoon merienda. We stayed there for a good 2 to 3 hours chatting away until the sun went down.
- Marc came around 5 something and accompanied us. We told him to order something for himself so we'd have a reason to stay there longer. Hahahaha.
- On the way home, we paid Shirby a short short visit at her store, and surprisingly saw another batchmate - Jenesa. :D:D:D:D
- We passed by Wai Ying, and surprisingly (again), I saw Bea Lao, a friend from Ateneo. She was with her brother. I guess her brother was very surprised (there's that word again) to see me; he doesn't know me. HAHA.
- I had a great first-sembreak-adventure. I hope to have more adventures in the following days. I don't want to be imprisoned at home again, and do nothing but eat, eat, cook, eat, cook again, and be fat(ter). Haha.
I like this shot! So cute! :))
